Jesus is probably the most influential person to ever have lived.Â
Many people understand Jesus to be a good moral teacher who lived 2000 years ago. This may well be true. However, as Christians we believe that Jesus is the Christ. This means that he is God’s chosen who came to save the world.Â
He is the Son of God who came to live as a human. He shows us what God is like. He lived a good life of love, died by unjust execution, and rose from the dead.
We believe that in Jesus you can find life now and forever, hope, peace and purpose. This is why billons of people around the world follow him and his teachings, and his influence continues from generation to generation.Â
