Daniel has attended Ryde Baptist Church since 2008. Since then, he has volunteered across several ministries, including welcoming, worship, and almost a decade of youth ministry. He was elected as an Elder in 2025. Daniel loves to see the grace of God at work in the church, and loves seeing how encountering Jesus changes our very understanding of who we are.

Daniel works as Senior Lecturer in Modern History and English Literature at Avondale University, where he also serves as the Course Convenor for the university’s Bachelor of Arts program. He has led numerous teams in the re-accreditation of university courses for both state and federal regulatory bodies, and has served on several committees for institutional governance and quality. He holds a BA Dip Ed, an MRes, and a PhD.

Daniel is blessed to be married to Laura. In their spare time, they enjoy reading, board games, and cooking (but mostly eating) good food.
