In the final part of our series, Pastor Toni takes us to Romans 6:3–11 and reminds us of one of the great truths of the Christian life: through Jesus, we have died to sin and been made alive in Christ.
Baptism gives us a powerful picture of this reality. Going down into the water points to being buried with Christ, and coming up from the water points to being raised with Him into new life. As we hear God’s Word and celebrate the baptism of five people, we are reminded that the gospel is not only something we believe, but something that transforms who we are and how we live.
This message calls us to remember our union with Christ, to turn from sin, and to walk in the new life Jesus has given us.
