The Promise to David | 2 Samuel 7:12–16

In this message from 2 Samuel 7:12–16, we hear one of the boldest promises in the Bible: God would raise up a King from David’s line, and His kingdom would endure forever.

Life can feel like JENGA—one block removed at a time. Sin slowly destabilises what was once strong, and we often try to hold things together in our own strength. But this passage reminds us that our hope is not in steady hands, but in a faithful God. Human kingdoms rise and fall, yet God keeps His promises—ultimately fulfilled in Jesus, the Son of David.

This is more than a historical promise. It’s a living hope. And as we approach Christmas, it shines even brighter: God has acted, the King has come, and His kingdom cannot be shaken.
